Kansas City's Original PorchFestKC is a community music celebration featuring more than 150 amazing and talented regional bands on 68 front porches of beautiful Midtown homes. This 5th year event will take place in three diverse neighborhoods in 2019: Roanoke, Union Hill, and Longfellow. Music will also be in the historic Union Cemetery. Join us for one afternoon of free, family-friendly Kansas City greatness!
PDF is sized to 11x17 paper. Copies will be available in each neighborhood the day of the event.
WHAT NOT TO BRING
COOLER: No coolers, please. Plus, they slow you down! Thank you!
PETS: Just a thought - crowds, traffic, shuttle buses, scooters, bikes, 6-hours, etc.
WHAT TO EAT
Union Hill Area
Street parking. Consider Roanoke Park and surrounding surface streets.
Summit Street allows street parking on weekends.
NOTE: This neighborhood has the most available street parking of the three areas.
31st @ Gillham Rd: SE corner lot at El Torreon
30th @ Troost Ave: SE corner lot, between Operation Breakthrough & Wonder Flats & Shops
25th btwn Charlotte & Campbell Streets: N side of 25th. UMKC Pharmacy & Dental school -- surface lots ONLY. Do not enter the garage. Use only unmarked spaces.
Both 27th St (Troost to Holmes) & Troost Ave (31st to 25th) have plentiful street parking.
AVOID!! Do NOT attempt to drive/park on Campbell or Charlotte Streets.

BETWEEN NEIGHBORHOODS: Thanks to our sponsor RideKC, FREE shuttles will run all afternoon to get you between neighborhoods. Park once -- partake in it all.
The route circles the outer edge of Longfellow and Union Hill areas, stopping at marked stops. (See map) Stops include the entrance to Union Cemetery before going to Main St. The route will follow 31st west to Broadway, Broadway south to Valentine Rd., Valentine Rd. to Summit, Summit south to 39th St., 39th St west to Roanoke, and Roanoke north to Summit, before reconnecting back to Valentine Rd. and heading back to the Union Hill and Longfellow neighborhoods.
Street parking along Main Street. Focus on being close to 30th St. The best on-foot entrance from Main St. is at 30th.
Parking lot on the north side of 31st St @ Walnut St/Grand, across from KCPT.
Street parking along 27th St, with a shuttle stop between Grand and McGee.
Surface lot at SE corner of Gillham @ 31st.
Early arrivals will find street parking in Union Hill. Late arrivals should pursue Main St, or alternatives.
AVOID!! Streets are narrow. Mid/Late festival arrivals should NOT attempt to drive into the specific streets of Union Hill (Walnut, Grand, McGee, DeGroff, or Oak Sts).
